DEAFvibe See Me Hear Me Event Day on Wednesday 9th May 2012 10am - 3pm
DEAFvibe are organising our first ever Deaf Day event during Deaf Awareness Week. Many of you will remember Alison France and Rowan Robinson (nee Butler) who have organised successful Deaf Day events in the past through Staffordshire County Council as well as Julie Hart at Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
We have invited a range of local and national organisations and companies to hold a stand / stall on the day. We will have a team of communication support including BSL interpreters and lip speakers on the day to help you access information throughout the day.
The day is for all deaf and hard of hearing people as well as families and carers to gain a range of information on deafness, equipment, advice and support.
We will also have a range of activities and a BIG raffle with big prizes throughout the day to keep you entertained !
The event is free and it is held Wednesday 9th May 10am until 3pm
